The Rotary Club of Nepean-Kanata will offer our 39th Adventure in High Technology program from October 21-22, 2023.
This year, our program will once again be virtual via Zoom conference. This is an online program where students get to meet exciting presenters from a number of businesses who will describe the unique and different ways that they use technology in their day-to-day work. The students will also hear from a few educational institutions who will describe some of the training programs they offer in the high technology field.
Our 2022 program was a huge the success and was rated highly by the students from around the world who attended. Click on the Programs & Speakers tab above to see the list of 2021 Presenters.
TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING:
You must be sponsored by a Rotary Club. To find one in your area:
- Go to the Rotary International website at https://www.rotary.org/en.
- Click on the words Club Finder at the top centre of the page.
- Enter your city name and click on Search. The resulting list of Rotary Clubs should each have a link to their Club website where you can get contact information for that Club. Contact the Club and direct them to the link to this Adventure in High Technology website and ask them if they would sponsor you for this program.
TO ROTARY CLUBS WHO WISH TO SPONSOR A STUDENT’S ATTENDANCE:
The program fee this year is $100 per student for a 2 day program. This fee covers the participant materials we will send to each student. Please e-transfer $100 per student to our Rotary Club Treasurer at treasurer@rotarynk.ca and indicate your Rotary Club name and AiHT registration.
Please complete the online Club Registration form as soon possible to reserve your student seat(s). The deadline for clubs to reserve spots is October 1. The deadline for clubs to complete the online Student Registration form is as soon as the student is identified but no later than October 8.
